Water tastes good. Pitcher is a little hard to handle - tends to slop over when pulled from the fridge - and the carbon specks in the filter chamber are a little disconcerting at first.

- Has an open mouth that allows particles to get in easily. All the larger Britta Pitchers have an auto-closing mouth, why not this one?

Great value, small foot print, good capacity.
My family used a Brita pitcher when I was younger. Eventually we switched to an under the sink RO because we use so much water. I am in college now, and that water quality on campus is REALLY inconsistent. It seems to have a different smell or different taste every few days, and is way over chlorinated. I bought this pitcher, and am VERY pleased with the results so far. The taste much improved. Very impressed. I forgot how well these work.
Be sure to keep water in the pitch to keep the filter wet, can't let the filter dry out, not a big deal though. So nice to have good drinking water again.
